Leon Dykler, President and Senior Consultant
Mr. Dykler is a
successful international consultant with extensive experience in Strategic
Planning, Information Management and Information Technology. He provides
consulting services to Canadian and foreign organizations in both the private
and public sectors.
He is a specialist in
Information Architecture, Information Resource Management, Data Modeling,
Process Modeling, Business Reengineering, and Strategic Planning, including
Identification of Strategic Opportunities, Methodology Development, Strategic
Information and Business Planning, Business Analysis, Data Architecture,
Conceptual, Logical and Physical Database Design. Services in Information Technology
include Project Management, Functional and Business Requirements, Feasibility
Analysis, Systems Analysis and Design, and Business, Workflow, and Process
Modeling. He has a professional interest in Data Warehousing and structured
Information Exchange projects such as C2IEDM and LC2IEDM, and has extensive
experience planning and modeling the integration of multiple systems into
Enterprise based corporate systems.
Mr. Dykler also provides services in evaluation, selection,
and implementation of Productivity Tools (including CASE), Office Automation,
Electronic Commerce and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Structured Workshop
and Joint Application Design (JAD) workshops, and Disaster Recovery
Planning.
He has completed Rational Software’s requirements
management courses in the Rational Unified Process (RUP), and is certified in
Requirements Management with Use Cases, Rational Rose, and Requisite Pro. He has project experience using ERWin,
Silverrun, the Rational Suite, and other CASE modeling tools, and Object
Oriented Modeling (OO), Unified Modeling Language (UML), ER Modeling
(Entity-Relationship), Dimensional, Star and Snowflake Schema methods and
practices.
